Luffa Sponge

Description

The luffa sponge is the fibrous internal part of the fruit that can be used when dry, being completely compostable. Luffa is an annual climbing plant.

Ideal for use in the kitchen to replace dishwashing sponges, in the bath as a skin exfoliating sponge, or as a sponge for household cleaning. You can also cut your luffa sponge to the size and thickness you prefer.

When placed in water, it swells and becomes a flexible, sturdy sponge that won't scratch.

It lasts for months with normal use and, at the end of its life, can be composted as it is 100% biodegradable.
It has a rope for hanging.
