Description

Organic Gluten-Free Cake Flour Mix.

Suggested Uses:
- Basic recipe suggestion for Gluten-Free Sponge Cake

- Ingredients: 220g flour mix, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 170g sugar, 180g softened butter (or margarine), 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons hot water.

- Preparation: Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar, butter (or margarine) and eggs, until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Then, mix 2 tablespoons of hot water into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased tin and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes.

- Sponge cake variations: The following ingredients can be added to the sponge cake batter: - Chocolate cake: add 2 to 3 tablespoons of cocoa with the same amount of water. - Lemon cake: add the juice and grated zest of 1/2 a lemon. - Nut cake: add 50g of ground walnuts or almonds.

Usage Advice

Tip:Gluten-free cakes will achieve better results if you use both the top and bottom heating elements of the oven. Always preheat the oven.
