Description


Rooibos Infusion is a popular drink in South Africa for several generations. The shrub, Aspalathus linearis, only grows in one province of the Cape in South Africa.

Ingredients: Organic Rooibos

Preparation: Place one sachet in 300 mL of water at 100ºC and let it infuse for 4 to 6 minutes or according to your personal taste. Store at room temperature, away from direct light and humidity.

Although often called rooibos tea, this medicinal beverage is, in fact, an infusion of the oxidised leaves of this shrub and not, truly, tea. The low tannin content and its mild flavour reduce the need for sweeteners for the average consumer.

Processing: The needle-shaped leaves are cut, dried, and oxidised.

Flavour: Can be infused for several minutes - resulting in a red infusion with a sweet, woody flavour and notes of vanilla.

Benefits: High content of flavonoids with antioxidant properties. Scientific studies show that it offers benefits in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, liver and respiratory diseases. It has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.

How we prepare your orders

For us, all orders are special. We prepare everything with great care. But always using reused boxes/materials.

Upon receipt of the order, we separate the items (and check if any are out of stock). If everything is okay, we proceed to packaging (all with materials left by our customers or from orders we receive from suppliers). If any item is out of stock, we will contact you with various options.

Shipments are made by CTT Expresso, and you will normally receive either a message or an email indicating the estimated delivery. Then it's time to open your order, confirm that everything has arrived safely, and enjoy the items.
