Description

A bread that pleases all palates, produced in Mealhada, with Portuguese flours, milled in stone mills, enhancing all the knowledge and nutrients.

Orders for slow fermentation bread (sourdough) must be placed by Monday at 6 pm. Our slow fermentation bread arrives at our grocery store still warm. It will always be sent the following Wednesday (fresh) and you will receive it on the next business day.

WE ONLY SHIP ON WEDNESDAYS.

We suggest slicing the bread and freezing it. As needed, you can take out the slices and let them thaw for a few hours. It's wonderful!

Slow-fermented bread (also known as sourdough, levain, and other names) brings benefits to our bodies, such as improved digestion and better nutrient absorption. But why? Because in the manufacturing process, slow-acting yeasts are used, which primarily provide better digestion.

The fermentation time is the secret to the flavor that slow-fermented bread acquires, making it much tastier, very soft, lasting longer, and presenting a lower glycemic index compared to bread made quickly with chemical yeast.

How we prepare your orders

For us, all orders are special. We prepare everything with a lot of love. But always in reused boxes/materials.

After receiving the order, we separate the items (and check if any are out of stock). If everything is okay, we proceed to packaging (all with materials left by our customers or from orders we receive from suppliers). If any item is out of stock, we will contact you with various options.

Shipments are made by CTT Express and you usually receive either a message or an email indicating the estimated delivery time. Then it's time to open your order, confirm that everything arrived well, and enjoy the items.
