Bristles
The toothbrush bristles are made from 100% renewable raw material, derived from castor oil. Castor oil is a completely renewable resource that does not require large amounts of water, uses only a small cultivation area, and is therefore perfectly suited for a future of sustainable agriculture.
Head
The toothbrush refill is made of cellulose, from FSC® certified wood and is therefore biodegradable. The toothbrush head material is compostable (according to EN13432 and ASTM D 6400) if disposed of in undifferentiated waste. It contains no harmful plastics and is BPA-free.
Packaging
The packaging is made from FSC® certified material and can be easily recycled. Additionally, TIO Care offsets all CO2 emissions related to production by supporting climate protection projects.
How to replace the brush head?
Simply press with the pin (on the bottom of your new TIO Care head) into the circle on the handle of your toothbrush to release the worn brush head. While pressing, pull the worn head out of the handle.
Why not just replace the bristles?
TIO Care deliberately decided to replace not only the bristles but also the head, as this is the only way to ensure the necessary hygiene.

How we prepare your orders
For us, all orders are special. We prepare everything with great care. But always using reused boxes/materials.
Upon receipt of the order, we separate the items (and check if any are out of stock). If everything is okay, we proceed to packaging (all with materials left by our customers or from orders we receive from suppliers). If any item is out of stock, we will contact you with various options.
Shipments are made by CTT Expresso, and you will normally receive either a message or an email indicating the estimated delivery. Then it's time to open your order, confirm that everything has arrived safely, and enjoy the items.
